We have visited countries such as Greece and Italy where two wheeled transportation rules. Television shows us that more populated and poorer countries such as India, Pakistan, and China depend on two wheeled transportation for a large portion of their population. In these countries it is not uncommon to see a motorbike with more than two passengers, riders without helmets, and even riders taking to the sidewalks to get around traffic and crowd congestion.

To the best of my knowledge we here in Canada have traffic laws to deal with these situations. If you drive a motorized vehicle on a sidewalk - with the exception of medical vehicles - you are breaking the law

If you drive a motorized vehicle without proper headgear, you are breaking the law.
